What motivated you to live and work in Vermont? A strong sense of community, belonging, and opportunity
Favorite part of your job? Finding new ways to help people improve their independence, well-being, and ability to do the little things they value highly.
Most inspiring mentor and why: The therapists who mentored me when I first joined the VNAHSR team, Melissa Falk, OTR/L and Jamie Rosploch, OTR/L. They continue to inspire and support me everyday.
What is the best career advice you have received? To never be content when it comes to knowledge; always keep learning and growing
Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know: I secretly like to do accents and impressions.
What three words best describe you: Enthusiastic. Energetic. Authentic.
Favorite downtime activity: Training in mixed martial arts at Vermont Martial Arts Academy.
Where do you see yourself professionally in the next 5-10 years? Finding more creative ways to help older adults safely age in place, and expanding a knowledge base in adaptive equipment product development
What career goal(s) would you like to accomplish in the next 5-10 years? I would like to expand my therapy certifications including ergonomics, geriatrics, and environmental modification; and to get involved in preventative home safety programs.
