Career Highlights: I was extremely proud to land my current position with Food Connects; they had been on my radar for quite some time as an organization leading food system change in Vermont.
Community Involvement: I serve on the Board of Directors of the Putney Food Co-op, and have started working with another Putney group on an integrated, sustainable housing 
project. I also recently started teaching yoga, providing a space for community members to connect with each other and themselves.
What motivated you to live and work in Vermont? I'm born and raised here in Vermont, and I'm so inspired by everything that makes this state what it is. I'm lucky to live and work here and give back to the state.
Favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is looking back after a busy week and knowing how much food we have distributed from our local producers back into the community. I also love watching the sun rise or set over the fields at Harlow Farm - it's so calming and grounding.
Most inspiring mentor and why: My mom, Nikki Hayes. She's the strongest women I know.
What is the best career advice you have received? "Take care of yourself, so that you are able to take care of others." Work-life balance is so important and often overlooked in this world.
What three words best describe you: Passionate. Motivated. Compassionate.
Favorite Vermont escape: Secret swimming holes.
Favorite downtime activity: Yoga, hockey, hiking, and reading.
