Career highlight you are most proud of.
Working with a co-worker to reestablish and reinvigorate our company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council. We went from only two members to around 15 in about a year and have participated in key activities to better incorporate DEI values into our organizational culture.

Community involvement.
Includes participating in the Leadership Champlain 2024 cohort, which is a professional-development and community-engagement program sponsored by the Lake Champlain Chamber. Throughout the year, we focus on a different sector and topics in Vermont to improve our knowledge of the biggest issues our community faces and inspire us to get involved and connected to the right leaders to make change.Through my career, I am also fortunate to have a link to the global community and take part in the annual Women in Global Development Leadership Forum, a virtual event that convenes individuals and organizations addressing the world’s most complex problems and develops their leadership potential. Through WILD, I have engaged and worked with women from Ghana, Georgia and India to apply for and participate in the annual WILD Forum as a panelist and presenter.

Motivation for living and working in Vermont.
Growing up in New England gave me an appreciation for the sense of community in and beauty of the state of Vermont.

Favorite part of your job.
The opportunity to travel to and learn from cultures other than my own. I enjoy working with people from all over the world and collaborating with them to design activities that help them in some way.

Most inspiring mentor.
My current supervisor. She poses an excellent example and is incredibly supportive and encouraging.

I went to school for and planned to be an archaeologist.

Three words that best describe you.
Ambitious, empathetic and curious.

Favorite Vermont escape.
Going for a run or walk on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail.

Favorite Vermont season.
Early autumn, when the leaves start changing but it’s still warm.

Favorite downtime activity.
Baking and experimenting with new recipes.

Cause you would support if you had unlimited access to funds.
Establishing paid family leave in Vermont.
