Career highlight you are most proud of.
Building The Source and Recruit Co. to a team of eight and helping over 120 organizations find the skilled talent they need to succeed.

Community involvement.
I joined the volunteer fire service at 14 and have been involved in Vermont and Wisconsin on and off throughout my career. I have my firefighter state certification and was previously a nationally registered first responder.

Motivation for living and working in Vermont.
My parents, who chose second and third careers in southern Vermont in the late ’90s.

Favorite part of your job.
Seeing my team make candidate placements on tough-to-fill searches.

Most inspiring mentor.
Ryan Dunn, also a great friend, whose lessons learned as a co-founder of Dealer.com has fueled many days and nights of my entrepreneurial journey with Source and Recruit.

Best career advice you have received.
Learning multiple skillsets is essential for advancing a career (from David Kohler, president and CEO of Kohler Co).

Something fun about yourself that few people know.
I was inducted into the Milwaukee School of Engineering Hall of Fame for my accomplishments in goal in Division III ice hockey from 2004 to 2007.

Three words that best describe you.
Optimistic, resilient and unflappable.

Favorite Vermont escape.
A UTV or snowmobile day out on the VASA/VAST trails, or a day on the boat on Lake Bomoseen.

Favorite Vermont season.
Fall, because it’s still warm enough to mountain bike and boat and serves as a gentle reminder that hockey, skiing and snowmobile season is just around the corner.

Favorite downtime activity.
Playing on the farm with my tractor.

Favorite social media.
Instagram, because I enjoy sharing my photography with others and find reels incredibly entertaining and a way to connect with the people I care about.

Favorite smell.
Who doesn’t love the smell of fresh tennis balls?

Causes you would support if you had unlimited access to funds.
I am particularly drawn to issues around affordable housing and supporting people and organizations that provide disaster relief.

Where you see yourself professionally in the next five to 10 years.
I’d like to continue seeing through the growth and success of Source and Recruit into new markets.
