Favorite Part of Job? To make more Chinese people aware of the beautiful state of Vermont; to promote Vermont's outstanding investment and trade opportunities, tourism, agricultural products, educational resources; to help Vermont businesses export overseas.

Most Inspiring Mentor: My father, a kind, hard-working, honest and successful businessman, a great father and a loving husband to my mother.

Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know: I will totally call a blow dryer a "dry blower", another thing is I totally fall into the stereotype of "Asian Female Driver". Therefore I have great sympathy for people who speaks English with an accent and drives funny.

Favorite Downtime Activity: I like hiking the Green Mountains, canoeing our state’s lakes, and meeting friends at a farmers market.

Favorite Vermont Escape:
I have enjoyed all the state parks that I have visited.

Favorite Social Media: Weixin, QQ and Facebook.

Favorite Website: WSJ Chinese Version.

Vermont Business Person you would most want to Network with: Anyone with strong products that would like to explore international(especially Asian) markets.

Career Highlights: Assisted Vermont businesses successfully explore international trade opportunities; helped a company solve Chinese distributor territorial problems; advised a cutting edge technology company navigate China’s complicated business and corporate compliance laws; directly connected companies with U.S. Department of Commerce Senior Commercial Specialists located in Shanghai and Guangzhou; and worked closely with Vermont’s Department of Agriculture in exploring sales channels for Vermont cheese, spirits, milk products and other specialty foods. I have also worked with Vermont Tourism, and connected with Chinese group tourism operators who are now considering offering Vermont tours. My role in foreign investment has directly contributed to helping foreign investors from around the world decide to invest in Vermont’s EB-5 projects. I have just finished a business trip serving as staff, interpreter and event coordinator for Governor Peter Shumlin and Commerce Secretary Lawrence Miller in China and Vietnam.

Community Involvement: When I was in Vermont Law School, I was actively involved in the US-China Partnership program. I regularly attended their weekly lunch discussion with American students to discuss Chinese environmental law; helped the partnership in the training Chinese judge program, etc. Now I am trying to pull resources together to form a loosely organized Chinese language corner program, encouraging locals to participate and invite Chinese guests to share hot cultural, travel topics.
