Favorite Part of Job? At Green Mountain Power, I love our customer obsession; our number one goal is happy customers. Second to that, is the team we work with to innovate, save money and keep Vermont green.

Most Inspiring Mentor: David Coates.  David transformed my life.  His careful attention to all around him, listening to everything, offering the most thoughtful advice and above all, leading with love.  If we all had half the sparkle David does nothing would stop us.

Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know: One of my life goals was to see Neil Diamond perform in Las Vegas.  Sequins and slot machines.  Mission accomplished and it was more amazing than I could have imagined, and yes, I was the youngest one in the audience.

Favorite Downtime Activity: Cooking!  I love hosting a dinner party from start to finish.  Guest lists, setting a beautiful table, crafting a fun menu, sitting around the table sharing stories, laughs and dreams.

What is the best career advice you have received? Take a deep breath, count to 10 and GO.  Also, Love Wins.

Career Highlights: I had an incredible and aggressive career in Washington, DC working on and around Capitol Hill - but it was coming home to Vermont in 2011 and serving the state in our recovery from Tropical Storm Irene that is my most valuable contribution.  As individuals and communities we are unique, resilient, and caring - when we come together to do it "the Vermont way" the results are just beyond.

Community Involvement: Moving to Rutland three years ago gave me a chance to be part of something, something big, this City has the biggest heart and I am happy to call it home.  Membership on a variety of local and state-wide boards is a way to serve my community in a variety of ways.  Two of my favorites include my love of supporting the arts through the Vermont Symphony Orchestra and closer to home, I can't wait to help raise money to renovate the Children's Area at the Rutland Free Library.
