Favorite part of job? I am I love identifying new opportunities and capitalizing on them.  Whether the opportunity is sealing the deal with a new client in need of a website overhaul, bringing on a new employee or connecting two people, I like creating win-win relationships.

Most inspiring mentor? (I’d like to mention a few) My father, Richard Adler, has always been in my corner providing sound business advice.  His brilliant business mind is an incredible asset to all of our family’s entrepreneurial endeavors. As our longtime board member and advisor, Dave Bradbury, President of the Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies, has helped guide our company since we arrived in Burlington. Liz Robert, formerly of Vermont TeddyBear and now of Terry Bikes, has been mentor for years.  I’ve had the honor to get to know Nord Brue over the past five years

Who is your living hero? Carlton Fisk, the longtime catcher for my favorite team, the Chicago White Sox

Favorite downtime activity? I love our long winters and spend as much time as I can with skis on my feet, whether it is riding lifts at Stowe, Sugarbush and Mad River or exploring the back country with friends. In the summers I swim almost every day, road bike and play tennis.

Favorite Vermont Escape? My wife’s mother’s home - she lives in a classic Vermont home along Pomfret road in the heart of the Upper Valley.

Favorite social network? Facebook

Favorite website? nytimes.com.

Vermont Business Person you would most want to network with? Dudley Davis.  There are so many members of the Vermont business community who succeeded thanks to his involvement.
