Favorite Part of Job? I have the privilege in my job of consulting with small business owners on the best ways to manage their business finances, which is one of the hardest aspects of owning your own business. I enjoy watching them light up when they learn what they can do with the information and how it can help them make their business even stronger.

Most Inspiring Mentor: While I have had many different people mentor me over the years, the mentors that have inspired me the most are my parents. They have instilled in me a very strong work ethic and the drive and determination to succeed in all areas of my life.

Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know: I make amazing buffalo chicken egg rolls. You better get to them quick at a family party, because the plate will be empty in 15 minutes flat.

Favorite Vermont Escape: I truly enjoy going out on the boat on Lake Bomoseen in the summer with my husband Ryan and our puppy, Jackie.

Favorite Downtime Activity: I love to be creative and my two favorite hobbies are sewing and knitting.
Favorite Super Hero: My favorite super hero is my father, who has been a law enforcement officer for many years. His dedication to his profession and the people he serves and keeps safe every day is inspiring.

Favorite Social Media: Facebook has been a wonderful in allowing me to stay in touch with my very large extended family.
What is the best career advice you have received? Never give up and always keep pushing. There is always more to learn.

Where do you see yourself professionally in ten years? I plan to continue with the firm, learning and growing in my knowledge as an accountant. I am excited to be in an industry where there is always something new to learn and do.

Career Highlights: One of the biggest highlights of my career was the day I found out I passed the last section of the CPA exam and was eligible to apply for my license. The exam process is very rigorous, so to pass all sections on my first try and complete the process six months after graduation was a huge highlight for me.
